I have been a pediatrician for 47 years and there has not been a textbook so well formulated. The various colors identify the topics and make it useful for anyone. When appropriate, the authors include recommendations for the patient, parent, family and community in the treatment of the condition.

I am pretty certain this book will become a yardstick in pediatrics. The first edition is so promising that it will soon replace all other big tomes. The accompanying CD is a bonus. It contains host of useful information, audio and video clips. I congratulate publishers (Mosby)and authors for producing such a wonderful book.
